I still have an '82 900 Turbo that I bought when I lived in Albuquerque. Regardless of altitude, I get 29-31 mpg on the road when in good tune. Once I got 25-26 on a trip, and found the vacuum switches on the cruise control cutouts at the brake and clutch pedals were misadjusted -- they were constantly partly open, causing a vacuum leak. At 151K miles, it still gets around 29 mpg at 70-75 mph at sea level. When towing my boat (21', 1000#) it goes down to 20. --------------------- John R.
