I am having some trouble with my 86' 900 SPG. I am ready to bring it to the dealer for repair, and I am wondering what I am in for. It has a problem with the transmission. About a week ago it started popping itself out of 1st gear when in traffic. You would release the clutch, move a few inches, and stop, again release the clutch to start moving again, but this time the shifter would return to neutral. Could this be an engine or transmission mount that has cracked and therefore moving the linkage. Second problem started yesterday. I could not shift the car into 5th gear. 1st-4th are all OK, other than the problem described above. Any ideas Thanks Rich Maurin
