First of all, I noticed in the owner's manual that > the original size was 185/55/15. My assumption is that my current size I strongly recommend going with a 205/55 or 205/60 tire. You'll get better handling out of them with sacrificing any ride quality. You can continue to use 195/60s if you like - that's what most people use. I would NOT use the "stock" 185/55 tire - it's harder than hell to find, creams your handling, and gives a nice, soft, bouncy ride... I would recommend sticking with Dunlop D60 A2 JLBs, or look into a higher performing tire. The Yokohama A509 and AVIDs are good tires but will wear VERY quickly. You might also consider Pirellis - the P4000 is a solid Touring tire and the P6000 is a rockin' street tire... > I've been told that the baffles in my muffler are shot, which is > probably why it's been much more audible lately. I've used the Group6 stainless steel exhaust and was VERY happy with it. When the funds are available I will be buying one for my '90 SPG. Turbo lag is reduced and high-end performance increased slightly. If you don't wanna spend the $$$ on aftermarket, I STRONGLY recommend getting a genuine Saab part, as they are warranteed for life. -Justin
