In a regular turbo charged engine the Bosch Platinums do not present a
problem. I had well over 200,000 miles using them in my 83 900T. If you
have  a Saab with direct ignition, then you are in a different ball
game. You have to use the Saab specified plugs or you will damage or
destroy the direct ignition cassette. Have seen many posts about this on
the www.saabnet.com Bulletin Board.
