To answer your question in the Final Analysis page (Michelin MXV4s - were those stock for Saabs, ever?). Yes they were and they truely sucked. Actually, they were just MXVs and not MVX4s. My '94 900 Turbo Convertible CE was factory shod with this rubber and I replaced them with Bridgestone RE71 Potenzas. What a difference. It seems to me that my '95 900SE V6 was also equipped with Michelin MXV4 Energy tires and these were even worse. 3 sidewall blowouts in 24k miles. All of my previous Saabs were equipped with Pirelli tires and they seem to be pretty good. Tim.
