Subject: Saab 9-3 - dodgy?

Hi all, I bought a Saab 9-3 convertible and on two seperate occasions the electrics have suddenly cut off when driving - not very pleasant when crusing down the motorway and the brakes go rock hard on you. The AA (recovery service) have come out twice and readjusted a cable that I assume feeds power from the engine/battery to the electrics. The Saab bods I bought it off say that it has happened in a couple of other cases but is not a regular problem. Because I have a hard time trusting anyone involved in selling cars, I was wondering if any Saab drivers out there have experienced similar problems. Bottom line is that if the cable issue is common, it could end up causing a crash and the motor press need to be told. Any comments? Cheers, Adam
