Rebuilt manual boxes for a 900 go from $1200 to $1800, depending on where you go, and you might be able to find a shop to rebuild yours for less. Installation takes anywhere from four to 12 hours, depending on who you talk to. At any rate, get a second opinion. Look for a good independant shop in your area (good ones are all over the place) - they'll be less than a dealer and probably do a better job.
