Subject: Gearbox oil loss



Hi there. ;^)

My '90 900 i16 is badly misbehaving. When driving on the Autobahn
(german highway/interstate) after a while it starts smelling for
gearbox oil. Each morning and evening I can find a drop of oil
underneath the engine which suspiciously smells the same way.
Now....where to look for this leak? Any experiences? I.e. is there
something like a "common leak" that may be easy to fix without ripping
the whole engine apart?
