Additionally, there never really was an SPG convertible - SPGs were always 3-doors. The "P" (performance) part of SPG was a modified APC box allowing higher boost pressures, and such a box was never fitted to a convertible at the factory - you may find an aftermarket or dealer-installed job, but it won't be "genuine." Your best bet is to find a nice '89 or later convertible, and buy the wheels, a G6 APC box, some lowering springs, and live without the panelling. Or you could try and find one of the special edition "SPG" convertibles from '91 or '92 - but they will be expensive. :) > I was under the impression that for all 1990 models, ABS and airbags were > standard options.
