From what I gather to be the situation from your post, you are upset that Saab France won't replace your transmission for free in a car with 160,000km (90,000mi)? Unless this is a recurring problem from when you purchased the car, I doubt you would have success with any other car manufacturer. It would be great if the car companies would give free repairs for the life of the car... but the car would cost an extra $5,000 in the first place.
