I'm hoping someone knows the answer to this since I and 2 mechanics are stumped. My '87 900 Turbo convertible 5-speed with 120,000 miles shakes from the front at between 45-65mph, but only under acceleration. Light acceleration produces little to no shaking and cruising is smooth. The tires were replaced and it still shakes. The half-shafts have been checked and supposedly are okay. The right one (passenger side) is new. The shaking is not felt in the steering wheel but rather shows itself as a cowl shake and is felt in the gas pedal. I swear I can actually see the car shake when it is at its worse. Other than that the car runs great! At 75 mph and above it's smooth as can be and always plenty of power. The plugs were changed but that did nothing. If you have seen this before please let me know the secret cure. We're stumped! My wife and family say it's time to sell, but I just don't want to sell the best designed convertible ever built. Gary Yancich Evergreen, CO
