You have experienced some bad luck, but I would not go so far as to claim that your cat is a lemon. Two repairs are a pain in the ass, but they do not automatically qualify your car as a lemon. The DI cassette failure is fairly common-- common enough that you could have picked it up while doing a little research for that model. If you had done the research, you would have been able look through service records to see if the DI had already been repaired. Heck, maybe you would have even decided not to get a 9000 with an automatic... I realize that the problems you had/have are disappointing, but I can tell you a lot of used car horror stories that involve way more than a $600 repair... Also, according to kbb.com, you got the car for $2000 under blue book value-- you should also consider that in your evaluation. Of course, you have the option to get rid of the car--but I think that you have condemned it too early.... I do not know what you meant by "trying to make my Saab something that it is not." but perhaps you have had some other problems that may influence your decision. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. CIRCUITS wrote: > > Previously, I posted some articles wanting to make my Saab something that it > is not.
