If you are paying much more that $20 you are getting ripped off *unless* it is a special harness designed for your car. > > 2. are any special precautions required when hooking up lights to this > car ? (low current limits ?? computer damage potential ?) If you are using a regulator box (not sure if that is what they are called) you should be fine. Check your trailer lights before you go anywhere, they die unexpectedly. When they do die, use a DMM to determine the exact cause of the failure, it may not be what you thought it was. > 3. any other advice on trailer towing If you are looking for a hitch I highly recommend Rigid Hitch. They are identiacl to the saab hitches, but about 1/2 the price. Be sure to let you car idle for a while when you get where you are going so the turbo has a chance to cool off. If your trailer wheels will ever be submerged in water get a set of bearing buddies, they will save your bearings.
