Subject: Re: '94 9000CDE cabin temperature sensor/fan

>My cabin temperature sensor/fan assembly has gotten noisy >I am wondering how to get into the dash to remove this sucker. I have tried a few things without any luck. > Try gently prying out the blank panel space next to the sensor with a thin-bladed screwdriver or pocket knife. Then, you can reach a finger around the back of the sensor/suction fan to push the unit out, which is all attached to the grille. If you can oil the bearing of the motor, more power to you. I bet there's not any ball bearings in such a tiny motor (recalling that the suction motor more closely resembled a hobby motor/cpu fan motor, but some light oil (like sewing machine oil) would work for a while. Be sure to clean the dust and crud off the temp sensor while you have it out. Best, Paul 93 9000 Aero
