Subject: Opinions on a 92 9000 problem.

I am thinking of purchasing a 92 9000 base model. It is immaculately clean and absolutely not body damage or rust inside and out extremely well kept. The car has 60,000 miles which is also low... all looks good right? The problems is that after driving the car at both low and high speeds a very obvious vibration in the steering wheel (up to a half inch of movement) is noticed. The car is well aligned, drives straight with out any steering input, and braked with out pulling to one side or the other. the steering wheel wobble definitely increases and decreases in proportion to the driving speed. The wobble seems to be isolated to the steering wheel, but I know that it must have something wrong with the suspension or an out of round or terribly misbalanced wheel. I'm thinking of going ahead with the purchase even with this fault apparent. What is a best case and worst case scenario of possible expenses rebalancing the front wheels being a best case. I don't want to purchase this and then have to plunk a thousand dollars to replace a major part. There is evidence of the car hitting a large pothole because it looks like the front left rim (steel) took a good whack about a half inch deflection. Thanks.
