The other side of the same coin! I have a 92 SAAB 9000 CD Turbo with 79000 miles that has had a lot of things replaced. We buy new and keep our cars a long time, so we pay attention to services and have all records. Last week, while traveling on left lane at 80mph the "check engine" warning came on and car went into computer generated "limping" mode. I barely made it off the Interstate when it went dead. This time they replaced some control unit at the tuned of $700. So, as much as I love the way this car drives and feels when in working order, I am trading-it-in ( a first ) for the VOLVO S80. We have an 85 VOLVO 240 GL wagon with 135000 miles that has been the best car ever made. Just hope the S-80 turns out half as good.
