Subject: Re: Help! how reliable are Saabs

Saabs are either complete lemons or run for 300k miles. In general, don't buy a Saab for reliability. They're great cars, but they eat money. The '94-96 model years had a lot of problems with shoddy trim and a few cars with terrible electrical problems. If its a 900S, make sure it isn't a V6. Its a GM engine, with poor expected reliability. The Turbo 4 is a much better engine, although it does get extremely bad gas mileage. -Roger Roger Gonzalez DoD #2067 rgnopsampult.com http://datapult.com/rg Now: '98 Honda VFR800 '95 Saab 900SET Then: '82 Suzuki GS450L '74 Saab 99EMS
