I've had great luck with my three-- retired the first two at over 1/4 million miles, with maybe $2-3k in each. That works out to a penny a mile for service - not too bad in my book. I had to put a new engine in the current 9000, because after verifying that I did in fact have oil, I thought the oil light was the result of an intermitent dash short I've been working on -- Oops! Turned out it was a broken oil pump- shut it down as soon as I heard the bearings spin, but it was too late at that point. But I'm pushing 200k on it, and the new motor should be good for another 200k or so, so I'm not too upset about it.
