I have an 89 9000CD.  I had to replace one of my motor mounts.  The way
I knew was the car vibrated immensely at idle--drove me nuts till I got
it fixed.  It was not cheap several hundred $ (I forgot how much) I
probably should have gotten the second one replaced also, but thats how
i knew.  This was done at about 110,000 miles.
