What would happen is the car would warm up OK then slowly return back to cold on long motorway journeys. To circumvent this problem I had to pull the choke out and keep applying throttle when leaving the motorway at roundabouts etc. The fault was that the thermostat would open up OK but would not return until the engine was really cold. You can check this by putting the thermostat into a cup of hot water and then a while latter a cup of cold water. Luckilly thermostats are only a few pound. -----------== Posted via Deja News, The Discussion Network ==---------- http://www.dejanews.com/ Search, Read, Discuss, or Start Your Own
