The wiring for the door locks under the bonnet just in front of the doors has a tendency to slowly decay over time. When the locks failed on my '85 900T, the wires had all sort of grown together into a molten mass and shorted each other out causing the fuse to blow. If the wires look a little suspect, cut back the black plastic shielding and you will probably find a bit of a mess. An hour with a soldering iron and some new wire and you'll probably be back in business. Regards, Gerard...
