Remove the driver's side stereo speaker/defroster vent.  you should be able
to see the knob like bulb retainers.  if you can't get to them this way, you
have to take out the dash plastic facia, then remove the instrument pod.
It's not hard to do this, you just risk breaking the crappy plastic clips
that allow the 4 long screws to retain the facia.   Try going thru the
speaker opening!!!!!
