Tom, I have an 87 9000S I bought last December, and I live in Upper Marlboro, MD...If you live in the DC Metro area, you might try API in Odenton, MD, 1-800-479-3775 for service and/or parts. If you are just looking for parts, I have been very happy with Impex Distributor's, 1-800-736-3550, www.zstarr.com/impex...I replaced my A/C for less than $670...Got the compressor from Impex for less than $300 and API installed it for $360... My replacement Starla mufflers for my 87 9000S were rear, $68.55 and center $93.78 from Impex and my replacement crankshaft pulley and seal were $143 from Impex...The parts came in Saab box.....If my info can help save you a few dollars enjoy and Saab on.!!!
