Hello, Try checking the wires and connections first before declaring the motor dead. Very often, the wires and connections are the main culprit. My friend's Oldsmobile estate had the electric vent window stuck open so we connected the motor to the dome lamp by flicking at the contacts to close the vent window shut. Consider yourself lucky not to own Toyota Corolla! My sister-in-law's 1994 Corolla had a broken plastic anchor, rendering the whole system useless. The replacement is $395,—! My brother and I fashioned a new plastic anchor for less than $5,—. Stupid Toyota!
