If you look at the placement of the trunk release button, I think you'll conclude that they already *have* considered it. The button is shrouded by the dash, and hidden from the passenger's side and sunroof by the steering wheel. It would be quite difficult to press the button from the outside through a partially opened window or sunroof, if not impossible.
