Subject: check engine warning light on 900SE



I was just wondering if anyone has experienced the check engine warning
light on a 900SE 2.5 V6.

Sometimes when the engine is cold (usually in the morning), the check
engine warning light comes on after the engine has been started.  As the
engine is cold, I don't feel any abnormal performance reduction as the
manual suggests.  When a gentle rev of the engine is given, anything up
to 3000rpm will make the light go out.

Its this usual or is it something to be concerned about?  Anyone with a
similar experience?
