I've had the automatic transmission fixed once about two years ago or less. Now the same thing appears, that of it not shifing correctly when in drive. I can manually shift it but when left alone in "D" it seems to hang up, sometimes not shifting down into 1st as you approach a stop and then when you take off it is in 2nd, shifts into 3rd VERY quickly and the motor almost dies, pings and all. I wonder if its a vacuum modualtor or if there is an electrical problem that is causing it. Anyone out there Know/??
