HI, I recently purchased an '87 9000Turbo, which I am already "married to". Basically, I love the ride and luxury of the car, and whatever repairs may come up, I will fix it. I am somewhat distressed by the recent auto transmission performance, however. A few times a day, accelerating from a complete stop, the car will shift back and forth between 1st and 2cnd gears, like 4 or 5 times. The acceleration is jerky and not very fast. So, I have been searching some on the Internet and found the following link: http://www.alldata.com/consumer/TSB/52/87520302.html, which shows a service bulletin for "Poor Shifting Performance, Automatic Transmission" for my model car. What does this "Service Bulletin" mean, exactly? Maybe, free repair?? Maybe, it's not broken--just a shitty tranny?? AM I gonna need a NEW tranny??????? PLEASE Advise. Thanks, Aaron '87 Saab 9000Turbo
