I fully agree with Edmund Blackadder. Blackadder?! That name makes think of Rowan Atkinson?! But there is one thing I don't understand.... Edmund Blackadder heeft geschreven in bericht ... >I guess you mean the parking brake... The parkingbrake wire will need an >adjustment. By the way, ALWAYS leave a gear in when parking as well as >always using the parking brake. If you donīt use the parking brake >frequenty, it will pretty soon loose itīs power. Another way of saving the >life of the parkingbrake, is to press the button when you pull the brake, >that way you will feel how far you have to pull it to hold the car. (btw: I call it a handbrake (handrem in Dutch), you operate it with your hand, don't you?) I always push the button, when I pull the handbrake. How can I feel it is losing power with that? And how can that extend/save the lifetime of a handbrake? :-) Btw: I sometimes use the handbrake to turn about, because it's a fast and fun way to turn. Does that shorten the lifetime of my handbrake? (don't bother to answer this one, it just would be "a waste of valuable bandwidth"). Spanks in advance, Jelmer de Laat, Rotterdam, The Netherlands
