We asked our mechanic to go ahead and when he orders my brakes order the heatercore as well figuring this was the problem. But the guy from Saab told him to check this out because its unusual to have to replace the heatercore and he named a specific place to look (sorry I don't know) so i am keeping my fingers crossed that it isnt the core, they are big bucks. I'll post my findings.
