I've solved my check engine light problem. 4 flashes indicated coolant temperature sensor, however reason for indication was that thermostat was stuck part open and engine didn't warm up in prescribed time. New thermostat has cured problem. Battery disconnected overnight cleared memory so light no longer shows. Hope this helps Hugh
