I personally like Yokohama tires. I just put a set of Avid H4 uni-directional tires on my '91 900s. They are not noisy, and they have excellent grip. The best thing to do is check out the Tire Rack (www.tirerack.com). I paid something like $53/tire last month. Shipping was only $12! And they were sitting on my doorstep the next morning! BTW the Avid H4 tires are rated for 130mph. The tire rack has a nice little page that tells you what all of the numbers/letters on a tire mean. Real handy.
