Subject: re: Marble in dash & Replaceing fan switch in "classic" 900 dash

The marble sound is the ball bearing/spring that holds tension on the heater control. The ball bearing falls out if you pull the control and rolls around in the retainer for the switches in the dash fascia. The only way to get these out is to remove the entire fascia and invert it. If you do this be very careful putting back together, since the little plastic tabs that retain the fascia are very easily broken. The fan switch is very easily removed once the fascia is removed, again be careful w/ the switch since you are dealing w/Saab plastic. (You can buy a complete fender from Saab for what some of the dash plastic costs!!!) Hope This helps! -- Be Seeing You! Kevin
