I once had the same problem on one of my saabs. I just bought with a 100.000 km and took the negine out as usual and exchanged all the standard trouble makers of the future. After refitting it in the car it died completely of after a few miles. Turned out to be a small electrical connection that i hadn't fastend correctly a by the movement of the car it gor loose killing the engine completely. PS don't ever go even near a garage that isn't saab at heart. harrie Danny <dmorrownopsamnd.Stanford.EDU> wrote in article <Pine.GSO.3.96.981122143545.1533A-100000nopsamne34.Stanford.EDU>... > first and foremost... > i would never, ever, ever go to beck. they are not really a saab > dealership at heart (more of a gmc). and they are schmucks. i have never > had a good experience with a saab there. > sounds like you may join the bandwagon. i have been looking for saab care > in the area for a while, since my trusty mechanic refuses to work on my > saab (which is a shame, since he has to be the best mechanic i have ever > come across) > i share your pain > danny > > On Sun, 22 Nov 1998, michael endy wrote: > > > On Friday I had my 125,000 major service performed on my 1992 900S at > > the local SAAB dealership (Beck, in Yonkers,NY).
