I certainly am talking about a Saab 90. The 99 replacement sold in the UK only (I
think) from late '84 to Oct '85. Basically a 99 front and a 900 rear, with the 99 8v
SOHC engine. Strange (but lovely) looking thing, and different to most other Saabs I
see around here!
Thanks for the advice on the chain. My mind is resting easy, but I will check the
tensioner etc to be sure. As for the mileage, I think I was extremely lucky. 71000
and a full Saab service history when I bought the beast for 850ukp. Just run in!
