HEY!HEY!
I solved it - it was the plug leads - I measured the resistance and number 1
was out of spec (according to the Haynes manual) and so was the coil to
dizzy lead. I fitted a new set of leads (£31.84+vat!), cleaned the plugs up
(not in bad condition but a precautionary measure) and it fired up straight
away and has run perfectly ever since! Thanks to all who replied!
