I had an 1984 900 Turbo Sedan in college and loved it. I am going to purchase a 1999 9-3SE 5-Door sometime this month. I stayed away from them for a number of years because of the GM issue and rumors of quality complaints. Now that Saab has been "cut loose" and redesigned the 900 I'm ready to go with my heart again... Anyway, the SE comes with 16" alloys and Z-rated tires. Living in Michigan and having experieced an at-speed spin-out on the interstate last year (in a chevy) I want to find a source for some cheap-but-well-made-and-safe (oxymoron?) 15" steel wheels to mount some snow tires on for winter. Two questions: Where can I find wheels? What is compatible? At what cost? What size snow tire must I run on the 15" cheapies to maintain proper gearing? Thanks in advance, Jerry -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Jerry R. Brady jrbnopsamweb.net Technical Director (v)248 967 3738 AutoWeb Communications, Inc.
