My 1987 9000 is going strong, but the A/C has totally given up the ghost. My local dealer estimated $700 plus to replace the compressor and the evaporator(?) unit. Anyone here with any experience in getting a total A/C upgrade -- also, since the older refrigerant is becoming scarce, I assume a change to the newer standard would be sensible.
