Subject: Re: What to look for buying a 9000

Andy, Mileage figures on the LPT 2.3 9000s are virtually the same as their full-pressure brethern. As it is, on my 9000 2.3 Aero, I typically get 22-25 mpg in urban driving, and 26-30 mpg on highway trips, no matter how hard I trod on the loud pedal (even with average speeds at 80 mph or above). The technical differences between full-pressure and low-pressure turbos are minimal; differences in wastegate and engine/boost management are all. I've heard of instances of LPT 9000 owners upgrading to full-pressure. Abbott Racing and Nordic both have modified controllers available. Paul
