Subject: thumping when stopping- 9-5



I have begun noticing a pronounced and very low 'thump' coming from the back
of the car when I come to a stop--usually a stop where most of the stopping
action is right at the end (not costing to a stop).

Could this be the fuel in the tank sloshing around?  or something worse?
Anyone run into this?
