Subject: Re: Power seatbelt troubles

Yes, had the same trouble on my 88 900T. Got sick of intermittent belt troubles so I (basically) opened and closed the door until the belt mechanism got to the fully locked rearward position ('fastened') and went under the back seat to the motors (both sides had the problem) and pulled the fuses. Then when you got in the car you simply reached over your shoulder to fasten the belt and off you went. A bit of a pain I suppose, but once the habit is there it is really no worse than any other motion. There have been posts on this NG regarding the installation of three-point safety belts from older 900's without that damned automatic portion but someone else would have to point you to a site with instructions. Hope this helps in the interim....... Brendan Dunn wrote in message ... >Hello! > >I have a 1988 900T 3-door. Recently, the weather here got cold.
