Subject: Re: Saab 9-5 V Volvo S80

In fact, after seeing S80 in real life I started to like rear-end more than front-end. It is very unique. The front end, OTOH, is interchangeable with a lot of other cars after you remove Volvo "grill" and sign. On the road it looks like a big brother of S40 from the front and like something strange (but nice to me) from the rear. Well, I was not happy with 9-5 exterior that much as well. The car is too conservative looking. Older 9000, or 900, were looking better IMHO. Interior of both 9-5 and S80 is however very comfortable. Still, I found S80 to suit me even more with its integrated GSM and RTI. Geartronic transmission of S80 can be fun as well if you want to play with stick. I also welcomed that Volvo finally moved buttons from behind the steering wheel to the center console. They are more visible and easily accessible. Radek
