I didn't catch the beginning of this thread, but the chances are there is a vacuum hose that's come off somewhere near the intake manifold. Take a look around the oil filter - that's where they usually knock it off. It's likely that you may have old and rotten vacuum hoses - as they age they tend to get stiff and fall off more easily... you might need to replace them. -Justin
