Subject: Seat warmer problem

I have a 95 Saab 900S where the driver side seat warmer barely works. When I first turn it on it will get warm for about 3 minutes then it turns off. It will not cycle on again for about another 15 - 20 minutes, which is usually much hotter. This unit was replaced last spring by the dealer under warranty so this is the first time that I have used it in cold weather. The original seat warmer would just about burn my skin through a top coat and pants before it would cycle off. Do other people feel the same? Any thoughts other than I have a faulty thermostat in the unit (i.e., weaker battery no providing enough juice)? Andy
