Subject: door mirrors

Hello, [I'm new to this newsgroups thing so please be gentle with me!] I have a 1994 model 900SE and have noticed that the door mirrors get splashed with water quite badly making rear views almost invisible. I have owned many cars (not Saabs) where once the heaters have cleared the water no splashed would occur. I appreciate it's obviously due to the air flow around the mirrors but am I alone in thinking this is a really stupid problem? Do they not have rain in Sweden? Is there anything simple anyone has tried to deflect the rain/spray away from the mirror surfaces? Thanks in anticipation, Neil.
