You don't mention the year of your 9000T. I have an 87 9000S and my Saabtech friend has an 87 9000T. If you check the techincal service bulletins on the 9000 at www.nospam, you can get an idea of where the weak spots are. I bought mine used at 145,890 miles. At that mileage keep a close eye on motor mountsc, upper and lower, your crankshaft pulley(harmonic balancer)/seal and possibly you A/C compressor. If your's is an auto tran, make sure you are flushing and changing the fluid/filter every 30,000 miles or two years. If you have a 5 spd, keep your eye on the shifter coupler. My 87 9000S and my friends 87 9000T are 5 spds. The other thing you may need to replace are your mufflers. I replaced both of mine last year, the rear right after I bought the car and the center muffler a few months later.
