My '91 9000 CS 2.3 turbo developed a pulsation noise that can be heard inside the card when idling at stop. Looks the fuel pressure damper (p/n 41 64 232, also referred to as "absorber" in some sources) is the culprit. Hewever, a relevant service bulletin (found at http://www.townsendimports.com) suggests that the damper should be replaced only if the noise is objectionable to the owner. How serious this fault is? Is it gonna cause any further damage any time soon, or the replacement can be delayed till the next major service (due in several months)? Thanks! -- Timur (remove double s to sendme e-mail).
