I don't know what other gadgets might be in there in the ventilated seats. Mine is not an SE. I had very good cooperation from SAAB USA when I had a major problem with my 900 SE. But that was 2 1/2 years ago. I'd suggest that you keep making noise to SAAB USA customer service and try to talk to as many different people there as you can. I had the impression that it might make a difference who hears your case.
