I own a 92 9000 T with 130.000 miles on it. The turbo has been whining like yours, only on acceleration, since a good year and a half now. I expected the worst, yet I noticed no power loss or anything out of the ordinary. My dealer says the turbo should eventuaaly ne replaves in due course, and I cringe at it, it won't be cheap. when pressed, he admits a vane in the turbine might be slightly bent or buckled, thus the whistling. The way I see it, 18 months and 30.000 miles later, and still running, if a breakdown was then in the offing, it missed the train. I wouldn't worry. Keep on driving. And no, not all turbos do that.Mine and yours do,not the others. Stephen McCracken a écrit dans le message ... >I just bought a used 1992 9000 CD Turbo.
