With 74k miles on it, there have been no problems. The only word of caution is the recommendation to change the timing belt every 35k miles. This is a frequent schedule. The good news is that Saab will replace the timing belt at no charge during the first 90k miles or so. But since the engine is so good, after this mark the changing of the timing belt is up to the owner. And it is not cheap. Except for this, the engine is responsive, reliable and efficient for a V6. So enjoy it.
